Bits of Glass
I have always loved beaded jewelry, especially peyote stitched bracelet. I love beaded jewelry that looks like art. I was laid off from a stressful job in the mortgage industry in April of 2011 and found myself bored to tears. One afternoon I wandered over to Lady Bead & Rook in Wilton NH, bought myself a book on beading, all kinds of beads & I was hooked! I've found a new job & I now find that beading at night after work is a great way to wind down. I'm married to a wonderful, understanding man & have 2 beautiful daughters.

Beaded bangle

Beaded bangle
This is my second attempt at making this bracelet. It was tough! But I am really satisfied with the results. I love wearing it.

tile bead bracelet

tile bead bracelet
This one is quick to make & looks great with jeans. I made it with 5mm 2 hole tila beads, size 11 seed beads & 3 mm crystal pearl beads. The clasp is a simple magnetic gold barrel. this one is very comfy

Old gold Kumihimo

Old gold Kumihimo
This bracelet is made using a method called Kumihimo which is an ancient japanese style of braiding. It was mase with 8 strands of cord, size 8 matte met. dk. bronze seed beads & long Magatama antique gold beads. The toggle is a purple & gold glass bead.

Silver and Black peyote

Silver and Black peyote
This is my favorite bracelet. I made it with size 8 duracoated silver seed beads and size 5 hematite drops. It was tough to get the needle through & my needle ended up all bent but the effect is great!

Embellished Netting

Embellished Netting
This bracelet is emplelished netting - the base is beaded netting made with size 11 opaque turquoise green & size 11 opaque black seed beads embellished with 4mm black bicone crystals & size 15 black seed beads. This one did come out the way I had envisioned but was fun to make.

Aqua Anenome

Aqua Anenome
Anenome bracelet using 4mm silver beads as base, 4 mm Amazonits & clear size 11 sead beads. This one is very comfortable to wear - the amazonite beads will move to the top of the bracelet so that it lies flat on your wrist.

Teal Net

Teal Net
Bead netting using size 15 matt teal sead beads & size 11sea foam lined crystal AB seed beads. Toggles are glass beads I found in a bowl of odd beads. This one is easy to fasten & very comfortable
